Private Lessons
Private lessons can be scheduled at anytime. Our instructors are flexible and will accommodate your schedule. For more information or to book a private lesson, contact the Pro Shop at (219) 865-2554.
Individual lessons are $50. Series of three $140. Series of four $180.
Adult Group Lessons
Sign-up by phone at 219-865-2554, then pay at the pro shop to reserve your place. Classes fill up fast! Minimum 5 students per class
$100 includes 3 group sessions meeting Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Minimum of 4 students per class. Call for dates 219-865-2554
Kids Golf Camp
Sign-up now by phone at 219-865-2554, then pay at the pro shop to reserve your space.
Classes fill up fast!
$100 includes:
- 4 days: Monday-Thursday
- Round on the Executive Course on Thursday.
- Range balls
- Hot dog, chips, beverage after Thursday golf
- 8 students per class
Basic hands-on golf instruction with PGA certified instructor.
Thursday concludes with a round on the Exec. Course, prizes and a hot dog lunch.
New sessions start every Monday.
Ages 8 – 11: 8:00 – 9:15 am
Ages 12 – 15: 9:30 – 10:45 am

Junior Executive League
The junior executive league meets every Tuesday, starting June 15th
Players may arrive between 9:30am and 12:00 PM. Play takes approximately 2 hours.
Groups will be formed by Scherwood Staff Eligibility
All boys and girls ages 10-15

$15 registration fee for league prizes and hot dog lunch final day. $7 green fee each play day. Free pull cart included.
Players may NOT participate until they have attended a rules clinic.

Players will compete on an individual basis with the following points to determine end of season awards:
Signing the scorecard properly 2 points
Making a bogey 1 point
Making a par 2 points
Making a birdie 3 points
Playing on designated day 2 points
Each rule breaking offense (following a verbal warning) -1 point
Points are totaled throughout the season. Winners receive trophies for various divisions. Please call the shop for more details
Players will be allowed to make up missed play days by playing on an alternate day. Players may turn in cards for rounds played anytime BEFORE the missed day. Cards must be turned in within 3 weeks after the missed day to be counted. Points will remain the same value with the exception of only receiving 1 point for playing an alternate day.
Leagues
Scherwood is a popular site for various leagues. Most leagues are private or corporate, but a few invite open play. Evening leagues are 9 holes and play Monday through Friday starting at 3:30. Questions regarding any league status, please contact the proshop.
Ladies
Thursday morning ladies have two different groups beginning at 7:30 AM: 18 holes, and Executive Course. New members are welcome.
Seniors
Mondays thru Friday beginning at 8:30 AM the Seniors play 18 holes with teams drawn each day. (Senior age is 50+). Tuesday through Friday, seniors also meet and draw teams at various morning hours. All events are full handicap and open to all.
Mens Club
Every Saturday and Sunday the Men’s Club tees off at 9:00 AM. There is a $15 scratch skin game, a $5 closest to pin competition, and a $10 quota game. All events are optional. Winners are paid 50% cash and 50% merchandise. The skin game is all cash payout. Total money is divided into two pools, gross and net. Every other Sunday teams are formed for various competition. All team events are full handicap. Call the pro shop for details.
